第六屆墨爾本室內樂大賽

比賽時間：2011年7月9-17 (四年一度)
比賽地點：澳洲墨爾本
比賽組別：Piano Trio & String Quartet
年齡限制：截至2010/12/31，鋼琴三重奏年齡加總不得超過90歲，弦樂四重奏不超過120歲，團員個人年齡不超過35歲

比賽分為五輪
DVD甄選：古典時期(Haydn or Mozart)一快一慢兩個樂章及第一輪及第二輪曲目其中一個樂章，總長不超過40分鐘，連同報名表於2010年8月31前截止（郵戳為憑），9月30公佈審核結果

現場甄選：曲目必須與DVD甄選相同，預計10月18至11月7日於澳洲、亞洲、歐洲及美國甄選，11月22前公佈正式參賽名單，最多各有八組進入正式比賽

Round One
The minimum playing time for all ensembles in Round One is 40 minutes with a maximum stage time of 55 minutes.

PIANO TRIO
Any Haydn or Mozart piano trio.
Piano trio(s) of own choice.

STRING QUARTET
Any Haydn or Mozart string quartet.
String quartet(s) of own choice.

Round Two
The minimum playing time for all ensembles in Round Two is 40 minutes with a maximum stage time of 55 minutes.

PIANO TRIO
A work composed after 1989.
Piano trio(s) of own choice.

STRING QUARTET
A work composed after 1989.
String quartet(s) of own choice.

Finals
The minimum playing time for all ensembles in the Finals is 25 minutes with a maximum stage time of 40 minutes.

PIANO TRIO
Own choice work(s).

STRING QUARTET
Own choice work(s).
